One year ago, I was suffering with chronic back and hip pain--throwing my back out every couple of months kept me nervous from engaging in any physical activity. It's always a happy surprise when I remember I haven't had excruciating back pain in 6 months. :) Working with Kara has been such a positive experience and has improved my quality of life way beyond the physical changes I've seen.   • If you need motivation, Kara is the trainer for you. After having surgery I was afraid to exert myself, Kara gradually and thoughtfully gave me the confidence to get movin'! Working with her virtually was great and she would nudge me to do a recorded workout on days we didn't have a session. I feel so much better now, I can't believe my back pain in gone and was able to go hiking with my daughter at Yellowstone Park. 65 is the new 45, thanks to Kara.

  • So here’s the thing, I’m 65 years old with arthritis in both knees and a torn meniscus in my left knee. I have held the belief that squats and lunges were off the table. Enter Kara Tremel, personal trainer extraordinaire...I know Kara from her days as a Broadway performer and when I saw she had successfully transitioned to the world of fitness, I thought perfect, who better? Then Covid hit and the world of Zoom which made it possible to work out with her from any place/time zone. Here’s what I love most, there is no scenario that I have presented to Kara that she hasn’t been able to adapt and make work for me. She is my own personal cheerleader with impeccable attention to detail because it really is safety first. The workouts she’s designed for me are varied and fresh and I have a great time working out with her. She is really present and focused and prepared and I can’t say enough good things about her and I CAN do lunges and squats!!
